Investor,

If you want a good sound for a band, read up at the link I posted.

The solo player wants a full spectrum of acoustic sound. It is difficult to achieve and feedback is a concern. The band player is more concerned about having a good cutting sound that fills their space within the band's sound. They usually want less feedback, scooped mids, and the ability to get loud. Those preferences require a compromise and the full range of the acoustic, including harmonics, lush tone, and a wide range of woody body sounds is usually sacrificed.

The guys on that forum can give you much more help than I can. They are a great bunch and it is free to join and ask as many questions as you want.

Good Luck
TH
