Has to be that way, there is no other - lenders will laugh at you if you say hey, lend me a few bucks to prove up a claim out back of beyond ... there is no interest rate you would be able or willing to pay that will compensate them for the risk in such a high-risk high-reward endeavour, every nickel you manage to get to drill and develop that claim will come from holders of equity in the outfit, you have to dilute to them so that they get a portion of such upside as may eventuate, and of course you maximise their perception of that upside, if you don't you won't get the nickel

It's about playing the financing/promo swings as much as it is playing the odds on geology and/or local politics, if you've just discovered the promo and been playing all this while it's a bit late, you may not be suited to the game, in fact i think you aren't, it's a pursuit for level-headed calm cool assessment of risk and reward, clearly you cannot so much as fart in a dispassionate manner, you're all over the map with emotion and anxiety and berating your fellows this way and that, everything is black no it's white no now it's black, you don't belong in this at all
