I do have an 18 volt cordless drill with a torque governor. My electric drills have too much power for screwing down the composite planks I'm using.

I have a love/hate relationship with composite planks. They are easy to saw and screw down, but so flexible you have to take pains to align them with the proper gap. Also, they are soft and do not accept abrasion well, such as scooting a chair over them.

Part of my problem was I used 20 foot planks to avoid butt joints because I have a 19'8" wide porch. Such long planks are very unwieldy.
