Many of the posters on this thread can't be bothered with facts....certainly not economic facts. The impact of the eight Bush years is now conveniently swept under the rug.... The complaint that "liberals" don't care about spending just demonstrates the see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil attitude toward the faux conservative republicans. But for gosh sake Buddy, don't confuse them with facts! Everything was just fine on January 20th. Nothing needed to be done, espeically not adding to the trillion dollar deficits Bush left behind.... We'd be fine now if we had just carried out the Bush/Paulson plan alone. Get those banks lending. Sure....
