Even when Intel was down to $70 for a brief period this morning, that was STILL well above Intel's stock price at the beginning of this year. And..... I bought 99% of my Intel long before this year started! Re: "I had to close out some AMD position today. The decision was difficult but it was the most logical thing to do. " I'm sorry to hear that. Judging by the posts (and lack of posts) on this thread, MANY AMD shareholders have given up hope and taken their losses - or escaped with minimal gains. When the market panics, lots of people and companies get hurt. And the weak ones get hurt the most. Re: "There are so many stocks out there that will have a better short term future." Very true.
