Uh, you mean gasoline. "Oil and gas" refers to crude oil and natural gas. I assume you don't want to exclude natural gas.

We've had alternative fueled vehicle credits since the Energy Policy Act of 2005:

I guess these were part of that GOP plot to kill alternative energy vehicles you keep talking about.
