that is what class 8 ice breaker capacity is for-so LNG tankers could move product year round:-)....considering the new reserves of over 2 QCF in the lower 48, and supposedly economic at $3.00/mcf, why not exempt nat gas from tax and royalties if used as feedstock for syn-fuel plants, making gasoline and clean diesel from nat gas? The gov't could then tax the syn-fuel, unless for military use.
