You don't get it. It isn't that people "don't want it to work".

It is that we know it doesn't work. We didn't want the money spent because there is no evidence that blowing money will make a bad economy turn around.

We knew this going in. We all told you, "This doesn't work. It has been tried. Pork-barrel spending does not make the economy better. There is no recorded evidence that it does. If you want to turn the economy around, do what works -- cutting taxes."

But no. You guys had a socialist agenda you wanted to get through. Never waste a good crisis. So, you did what you did, it has failed, and we (our children) are stuck with $100 Million a day in interest, into perpetuity, and not one damned thing to show for it.
