I think the rich should pay more. That really isnt the question. They most assuredly are going to pay more under any scheme. The question is whether anybody below the top few percent should also pay more for all of the spending that is in the pipeline. I think the answer to that is yes. If this health care bill fails to restrain cost increases, what incentives will there be for most people to see any changes made? They wont be seeing the costs of the program, only the benefits.
