That sums it up exactly. Some very smart scientists have reconciled the realms of science and faith in their own minds in very interesting ways, but for most of the table-bangers out there on this cause, it's a simple crusade against what they consider evil, even when that "evil" is responsible for most of the modern lifestyle they enjoy. If you need open heart surgery to save your life tomorrow, do you want it done by someone operating on faith (pun intended) or cardiology? If the latter, how is real knowledge evil unless it is used for evil?
