Yeah, I was across the pond for so long, I didn't have any chance to get in trouble back home, LOL. I hope they gave that young Marine another chance. The irony was, another guy on the detachment was about to rotate out for a tour as a brig guard (at Quantico, I think?) where he may have ended up guarding his fellow Marine sometime later. The worst thing for that young guy would have been facing his gunny when he came to; that gunny was the most squared-away, square-jawed Marine I ever met. He made the recruiting posters look like pussies.
