The "airport to nowhere" is not a simple case of "whoops."

That wasn't the point of the discussion. The vast, vast majority of projects are needed and make for increased efficiency for the general population. Most are not even discretionary.

It's attitudes like yours that allow this "culture of corruption" to continue unchecked on both parties. Comparing that to Intel is just plain stupid...

Remember when Intel was buying companies left and right, what about 8 years ago, without integrating even a half dozen? That fiasco made the government look like the model of reason and efficiency. They blew Billions of shareholder dollars... one of the stupidest things I've ever see a company do... over and over and over again.

...but I expected nothing less from a yellow dog Democrat.

Whoof whoof.
