Mill Bay Obtains Permitting Approval for Saskatchewan Coal Exploration

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - July 16, 2009) - Mill Bay Ventures Inc. ("Mill Bay" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: MBV.V)(PINK SHEETS: MLBVF.PK)(FRANKFURT:M4K) is pleased to announce that it has received approval for Coal Disposition Applications (Dated July 7, 2008) for ground that adjoins two historic coal intercepts first reported January, 1961. The Report identified as, "Silica Sand and Coal Occurrence's on Wapawekka Lake" was written by W. D Pearson for the Department of Mineral Resource Mine Branch Geology Division, Province of Saskatchewan. This report identified the locations of two coal intercepts of 30 feet and 14 feet with no coal rank given. Mill Bay has received approval for the coal exploration applications for 41,024 hectares (101,372.51 acres) of Coal Dispositions adjoining these two intercepts.
