Welcome to the club.
We too envisioned growth, hiring employees, creating jobs for other like minded small business's which in turn supports families and communities. We are proud people and have always striven to do our best and have always been honest and up front with every single entity we've encountered, from the client, to the shop owner, supplier, sub-contractor (in fact they all want to work for us because we always pay them immediately or very soon after) banker, revenuer.....etc.
We too have sacrificed, worked incredibly long hours and paid very close attention to details of what is/was required of us, and all we have gotten from this rotten bunch of crooks is grief. I read what LB said....regardless of receipts and income we've always been on "thin ice." Day by day, week by week, year by year. The more successful we got, the more intrusive the govt became.
This last episode of the state awarding a quitter unemployment benefits (and now the 5.4% "surcharge" on earnings) was the last straw.
For us, this is not the America our Founding Fathers envisioned. |
