In regard to the science of the issue. There are tons of scientists on both sides of the issue. I've read and absorbed dozens of points of view over the years and have come to the conclusion we simply do not know with any certainty whether man is causing Global Warming, or whether Global Warming is something to be concerned about. We have conjecture and we have hypothesis, but every time someone, or some group, attempts to seriously model their predictions, they turn out to be wrong by a large enough factor for concern. Science is about theory and observation, leading to facts. The Global Warming alarmists have none. Primarily, because the worlds climate is an amazingly complex system. We should keep trying, but we shouldn't fool ourselves into believing we understand it at this stage.
If someone can't predict what the Global Temperature will be in 20 years, why in the world are they so certain about the domesday predictions in 50? Year after year, alarmists like Al Gore have been proven wrong, yet his followers find excuse after excuse for the gross discrepancies.
There is no “alarm”. At this stage it's an invented future problem, with a proposed solution that is unknowable and most likely unworkable. |
