we consider 20-25 years here betteen cuttings, and that is with replacing with pines. that is hardly the same thing as 'regenerating' a virgin forest, or replacing an ecosystem built around old growth. it is not the same thing. And considering my family has forest land... well... perhaps a person should ask before giving me a lecture on regrowth (not meaning you)
