Every recovery is a "V" Mish. I have heard it every cycle, "jobless recovery". My laid off friends on the Street are now being picked up very quickly. The job statistics are now OVER-estimating the situation just as they were UNDER-estimating back in 2007. This one will be a V too simply because of how severe the fall was. It doesn't mean we go back to peak levels for housing starts or auto sales, but when these figures drop 50-75% from their highs, any uptick looks good. The market will take this information and over-extrapolate in the 2nd half of the year. Long and Strong.
