reduce costs to the families,, those with small children get cheap hmo coverage and run up huge bills because majority of employees are healthy. that is the risk and reduced costs i meant. certainly the hmo costs are increased annually with the increase of costs over corporate % of contribution.

obama plan is going to mandate insurance coverage and on top of that minimum coverage so they will not get to pick a lower coverage. many young singles in ma. complain that it is really a tax on them as the minimum coverage does nothing for you. very high deductables, up front monthly fees. they all prefer to see the system remain as is and take their chances.
