Funny how Clinton became fiscally conservative only after the conservatives won Congress.

I actually think it was the success of Ross Perot that caused Clinton to become fiscally conservative.

I agree that Bush left us in a bad fiscal position, but the liberal version of "fiscal conservatism" these days is raising taxes on the rich, i.e. the most successful among us.

That's one way to keep the economy stagnant for as long as liberals can keep their constituents dependent on handouts.


That's the same propaganda you guys were spewing when Clinton raised taxes on the rich. Far from stagnating, the economy did great, exactly the opposite of what conservatives had been threatening would happen if Clinton's budget were to pass.

Republican economics is nothing more than propaganda, dogma.
