From that report, it looks like a sound decision. We've already got lots of managed forests where available lumber can be commercially grown and logged for profit. We don't need to cut pristine wilderness down and give away lumber to create jobs paid for by taxpayers. If the Chinese need it that much they can pay top dollar for it.

I didn't see your supportive statements one way or the other on the Tongass Rain Forest 17 million acre plan, but then you couldn't to the Bush era bash and dash thing with that one.
