Did 1.100Km in 54 hours. Wife of Chinese went together. Chinese woman never asked to stop car and go (new new) at least it sounds like (new new). A westerner woman cannot do 100km without stopping for new new. She did not ask for air con up or down. She did not complain fo the flies, neither had a look at the hotel belfroe going inside. Stoically follow Ping, the manager going with me. Their house in Porto Amboin is very basic. For the first time on my life I ate at 8AM. My stomach cant santd any food before 10Am unless I wake up 4 or 5AM. Noodles with slices of pork and tomatoes. NO COFFEE!! I suffer with my one liter of coffee everyday. But I ate because I am a polite guy. Now is 13:50 and I am not hungry.!!! Inhospitable land. Kalahari stops, and beocme thorny dry field and we move from Namibia towards the north.
