From your narrative and the pics it looks like you had a great time. Good decision to turn back and not try for Constitution. Cold and wet at high altitude is no fun.

I'm planning a trip to Mt. Rainier National Park in three weeks. We're doing it on motorcycle, with Lynne riding with me and Erika riding with our friend Dave "Purple Motorcycle" Denham. I've already told Lynne she's limited in what I'll allow her to bring.

I mapped the location on Bing Maps. See the location is near 395. If you were to get on 395 and drive north, it'd take you within 40 miles of my house (eventually). I plan to ride down that way sometime on my scooter.
