It's true, I don't have any direct information that AIPN is sitting on oil in commercial quantities. However, I do know a guy in Texas who recently met a buyer at Chevron whom he hadn't seen for two years. He told him he was invested in a small oil company that had a concession in Kazakhstan. His friend told him it must be AIPC, knew all about the company and said that it was "sitting on tons of oil".
Now, given that Chevron is, to date, the major player in Kazakhstan I asume that they have a better grasp on the realities over there than most of us. If Chevron thinks AIPC is sitting on tons of oil, I would believe them....although I fully expect some on this thread to dispute the Chevron employee's claim without making any effort to verify it. It's the nature of this thead. Never do due diligence...but pretend to be knowledgeable anyway. I'm getting bored...

Cheers..Faris
