I have a cousin whose job enabled her to travel the nation. She began chasing the Adams family tree about 1975, or so. Every where she went she looked at county records, tracing the name back to the Chesapeake area. She found where a band of Indians chased family members in that area. She was determined to learn if we are related to the Adams presidents. A couple years ago she had me submit DNA as I'm the oldest Adams alive. To our complete disappointment the report came back "not even close". It's a bummer to lose bragging rights like that. ggg
