But the NZ$ has zoomed against the US$ while borrowing continues to zoom in NZ too, with no visible means of repayment. Uridashi are being rolled over and added to it seems, not sold and repatriated to Japan. Another data point - Bing couldn't find that news but Google did. Bing has been doing well for me and I like their daily picture very much. Iceland and Ireland might look bleak, but NZ might look bleaker, even as summer arrives. Mqurice
