I think individual investors are smarter and smarter thru the thread like ours here, we are no longer seperated individuals but
with communication we almost have the power of some kind of mutual fund maybe called "Intel for wealth and health fund". If all the individual investors are not scared by the market and play for the long term with good stocks, the market will grow more stably for the long term with less or shorter dips like this week. Since whenever the dip, the small investors just buy more and it ends up those fund managers or traders who sell will not be able to take the advantage by driving the market down. They will lose their positions in good stocks.

Of course I wont be surprised to see some pull back in this market either but I think the November Comdex PC show probably should help those PC related stocks like intel, IBM and MSFT, I think the show will help the networking stocks as well since they will have more growth in the future even than the PC industry. All the computers need to be connected together in one way or another so we can share our work and knowledge to grow faster in this connected world.
