I would like to see some numbers in order to assess the commercial viability(profitability) of the process. It probably becomes truly viable once the startup costs can be re-cooped over a reasonable period of time, preferably without government subsidy. The ethanol (and fresh water?) produced would then only have to cover operational costs and yield a profit. Without being certain of receiving rebates for removing CO2 from the air, of course. Risky business, ad-venture capital.
