I find a lot in that article to be true and yet he misses the mark in my opinion on congressional leaders fearing Obama. The article tends to make Obama a victim and I believe the congress is doing exactly as Obama wants. That is how he is maintaining a 50% approval rating. It is always congress of the Uncle Joe guy who makes mistakes.

Yes, Obama doesn't like whatever the polls don't like about the legislation congress produces. Yet, he signs it. Nonsense I say. He is pushing these bills without pause and with all his ways and means. They do fear him. His twists arms to the breaking point. Somehow the NYT is trying to explain away the falling poll numbers by blaming congress. They have huge blame, but they are no more than co-conspirators in Obamas agenda.

The article is right on with it's angle of the party in power being intoxicated and cocooned by the press. Hannity, Rush and the rest hailed "The democrats can't get elected" and in a few years it all changed. Obama and Congress fast track push is only changing the current more swiftly.
