Lindy Bill You are fortunate to be a part of the Kaiser system there. Some of the best care our family ever got was in Hawaii---at the Straub Clinic, don't know if it is still operating. What we encountered in the D.C. area was a lot of wrong diagnosis by Primary physicians as they followed the canned system of do this test before you do this one----and Primary Physicians who are no longer licensed as physicians. What it boils down to if we are going to go the HMO route again is that each person must realize that they are the manager of their medical diagnosis and care. Don't be accepting--- mj
