GG this from statement from TSR i believe will be Major if Economy is still weak come 2010.
Hard Fact, the anger will ARISE if the wildly optimistic , getting ever more crowded bandwagon prove WRONG.
Also i have read a Harper's Magazine in depth article called Barack Hoover Obama.
They say cut through the BS, that except for fed keepimg a lid interest rates, what Obama has done no different than Hoover, a complete capitulation to The Banks.
And Harper's states it will have they same success--NONE!!!!
So i am saying, gg, if the market falters next year, those hearings will come and they will be as powerful a hearing as WaterGate
The TSR statement--7/20/2009

"Lastly, Congressional leaders are in the process of selecting a 10-
member Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission (FCIC), an
investigative body that resembles the Pecora Commission that
investigated the crash of 1929. A report from the FCIC
will be due in December of 2010. If economic and stock market
conditions worsen in 2010, as we expect, the FCIC hearings are
likely to garner as much attention as Watergate hearings and become
a venue for a national catharsis that will further devalue Wall Street."
