The number of drugs covered by Part B, as shown in your list, is minuscule. That is because most such drugs are generally administered by physicians and thus not available for retail sale at WMT. They are totally incidental to the patient's treatment by a Part B provider.
You have said you have diabetes, and Insulin can be covered, so I'm sure that's what you're referring to.
If you get it cheaper at WMT than what Medicare pays for it, it is because WMT buys it, marks it up, and sells it, for less money than physicians can buy it for.
This would imply that the drug is both administered by you at home and by physicians in their offices. While there may be some like that, I suspect the numbers are tiny. For example, oral chemo drugs are not going to be "sold" by physicians, the physician writes a prescription.
Bottom line, in very few cases (if any) would the conditions you cited exist. It is possible there are some limited circumstances where it happens, but not enough to base your lying claim on. |
