I would not characterize my views as that at all.

(I mean... 'governance' can produce useful, or harmful results. It all depends.)

What I DO BELIEVE though is that the status quo is a failed model.

(That it has resulted in the world's highest health care costs, and health care resultants that seriously lag behind most of our developed nation peers... and that it's expenses has been inflating UNSUSTAINABLY at near double digit rates for decades now... far in advance of the rate of expense increase for most every other sector in our economy.)

Consequently, I conclude that extrapolation of the exact same failing model, (without reforming it) into the future would result in disaster for America. Disasters on an individual basis for more and more Americans, and an inability to compete internationally for our companies, and disaster for the nation as a whole.

So, I'm on the side of reform, since the status quo is clearly failing.

(So now we arrive at the hard part: WHAT REFORMS? :-)

But INACTION results only in economic FAILURE.
