Did you know Abraham Lincoln was the only US president to ever be granted a patent. It was a device designed to lift boats off a sand bar or get them unstuck. It was never developed past the model stage. His invention wasn't really seen as useful.

And did you know that if you handed Don one dollar, he would be a doofus holding one dollar who has never made a meaningful contribution to SI discussion.

Hypothetical Example:
Don: Hey boys lets go poor milk of magnesia on the snow, that'll really stick it to the man!
Boys: Don you're such a doofus!
