Mark's Work Wearhouse Reports Fall Sales and Earnings Up
CALGARY, ALBERTA--Same store corporate store sales for the Fall
Season are 12 percent ahead of last year. Fall Season earnings
continue to trend ahead of the revised forecast. Garth Mitchell,
President and CEO said today, "It is unusual for the Company to
comment on earnings in our monthly sales press release, however,
since we are in the middle of an unsolicited takeover bid, we felt
our shareholders and other interested parties would appreciate
knowing these results."
