Monday October 27 7:05 PM EST U.S. Stockpile sells 20,000 lbs tantalum NEW YORK, Oct 27 (Reuters) - The U.S. Defense National Stockpile Center sold 20,000 lbs tantalum oxide to Kennametal on October 24, at an approximate market value of $1.3 million, or $65 a lb. The sale exhausts the amount of tantalum oxide available for sale under the fiscal year 1998 annual materials plan.
