"Are you trying to tell me there is no difference between Democrats and Republicans regarding race?

Then you tell me why blacks always vote over 90% democratic?"

You are declaring a demographic difference in party line voting. It is not a historical fact that racism defines the parties. In fact the historical evidence says something quite different, as you know, with reference to the civil rights laws. But that is just a historical note.

The current party line vote does not prove racism of one party or the other. It might be evidence that more black people identified with Obama than with McCain, or just because it was the 'black' thing to do. If there is any racist context in that, make of it what you will, but I can't conclude it was racist. They certainly weren't voting against McCain as a racist, McCain is clearly not a racist. Unless being born a white man is the definition of what being a racist is these days.

The difference in the parties these days seems to be a tendency toward favoring a liberal life style if you are a Democrat vs a tendency toward favoring a conservative lifestyle if you are a Republican. Actual voting is more about a loyalty to your cultural group identity than anything more principled.

The extremes of the parties, one of which you promote regularly, are collectives of bigotry each pointing the finger of condemnation at the other. There's not a wit nit bit of difference between them except maybe in how they dress themselves up for the party. That is what collective group think is all about ... too bad the peops involved are deluded into thinking they are not the very life's blood of prejudice.
