No. The printing started in December. Actually, the Fed started
to pay interest on reserves in September 2008 and crashed
the markets. Bummer! I told you that before, and not that I
understood the process at the time. I learned afterwards.
As for March, the answer is yes, some
clownbucks were created, but the pace of creation drastically
increased. Fundamentally it makes sense to go long gold and
commodities now and short the dollar, as risky as the black hole
of debt is. Shorting spoos is a blind shoot. Spoos are not
worth the price they are traded at, but there are constant
large flows from the printing press into the system.
