I find it all most unfortunate. But I don't think there's a snowball's chance in the proverbial place of ever mounting a movement to revert to a federal role as defined in the constitution. Certainly not re health care. The only thing even remotely feasible is to slow the move toward centralization down.

I was not sure where you were coming from. But now that you mention it why did the Federal Government not fund Welfare directly? And why does it not set up schools instead of funding State schools?

I believe instead of nobody caring, that courts have made decisions on the tenth amendment and Commerce Clause that has set the path.
