bill:While BC was disappointing, don't forget WSTL got Telecom Italia right out from under the noses of ALA in ALA's own backyard. I'm still thinking through the dynamics of the BC contract situation and its implications, however, considering Telecom Italia had to have listened to an ALA pitch, yet still went WSTL, I'm still undecided as to the ongoing competitive balance between the two Companies in future contract bidding. Perhaps WSTL should consider promoting its VP-European Marketing to VP-Worldwide Marketing (including Domestic, European and North/South America).
