Dave-

I'm totally disgusted with Schwab. I tried repeatedly to place a buy for Intel via the web, via tele-broker, and via telephone for a couple hours on Tuesday morning. I was unsuccessful for over 2 hours after repeated tries. By the time that I was able to place a trade, the stock had risen.

I'm reading the glowing reports in the news of how the online brokers, including Schwab, were able to continue to serve customers during the day. Nothing could be further from my experience. I think that the class action suit that you refer to is warranted.

I feel that I experienced a breach of contract by Schwab's inability to handle trading volume. Someone needs to challenge them on this.
