I'm assuming that is not his sole rationale. If it is, I would agree that he is out of line. But he indicated that sources within the military believe this is a desertion.

Then why didn't the source go on national tv and make the claim? Why isn't the army making the claim? Do you even care what the soldier's family is thinking or feeling? Are you human at all?
