And on an off topic - any iPhone people out there? I bought a used iPhone from my brother in law while he was on vacation here. First thing I've done is upgrade the OS from version 1.1.4 to the new version 3.0, which has produced the message

"The SIM card in this phone does not appear to be supported."

I'm in the Philippines, and didn't even think about the carrier support thing.

Is there any workaround to get the phone to work, or does anyone know if there is a way to restore the phone to the old 1.1.4 OS? It was working before doing this upgrade.

Serial number on the iPhone is 7R 7457 DKW H8.

Thanks in advance!
