Well, I'm just sick of all the junk and files. I start going through it and always end up saying - Better keep this, I may need it. Then I forget I have it and go buy another. I think one of the professional organizers would just despair at getting me organized.

I decided to have a garage sale once hoping to clear out at least some stuff - never again. I had a friend over to help. The junk was in the garage and out on the apron. I had a table with a lot of costume jewelry on it. A pickup truck with about 6 adults and 5 kids pulled up and they all approached at once and started going through the stuff. I motioned to my friend who was on the other side to watch them but he was engaged in a conversation about tools with some guy. The mother of a 3-year-old pointed to a spot right in front of the garage and told him in Spanish that was where he should pee - which he promptly did. This, of course, distracted me giving the 3 men time to clear off the jewelry table and for the other 2 women to grab what they could.

That ended the garage sale.
