The Toledo view. My trip to Ohio was fun witht he Mudhens. I got meet major contractors. It seemss like hospitals, schools, and arenas are the major jobs. No one is building an expansion. My Wind folks are nervous about $50 oil as delays in green tech are happening.

Meanwhile across the river, Michigan's 15.3% unemployment is the nation high.
I bought a Smart car made by Mercedes this Saturday. A few emails, 2 phone calls and I just pick it up. I signed the preapproved financing right there. I never have bought a car where everything is online and I show up and drive it off. It makes car buying fun. My wife loves the questions people give her about the car. It is getting 50 mph in the highway and low 40s in the city. Other car companies could learn from this. Customize you car on line, the price is fixed and everything runs smooth.
My VZ contact loves RIMM. It has 51% of the VZ market and he sells nearly 90% Rimm to people upgrading their blackberry.
The INTC report was good. The Asian market is picking up. I have to say I am a fan of these netbooks. ASUS one that we got last month is really nice and convenient.
