How far do you think a citizen would have to go to legitimately get arrested for disorderly conduct?

It is a charge that is deliberately left open for a policeman's judgement. Refuse to sign a traffic ticket and you can get charged. If you don't get tazed, as happens.

A "bare facts" account of these kind of incidents leaves out the tone and flavor. The police officer will attempt to portray approach as a "Joe Friday." The citizen may find it to be a sneeering "do as I tell you and don't ask questions."

There is no binary approach to this kind of incident.
