I thought your horse analogy was too sill and simplistic to address, plus it was to John, and I figured I could save myself some time and just skip it. Contrary to your belief, it was not my inability to address it that created the vacuum for you, but the fact that I am busy.

However, since you really want someone to address it, here is what I think. The economy is cyclic. The period we are in right now is not the fault of Bush or Obama, it is simple part of a large cycle- a cycle even more poorly understood than climate change, though those who think no one could understand the climate, appear to believe understanding the economy is easy. To which I say "phooey". The "race horses" of other countries with more socialized societies do quite well, in some cases just as well as our horses. You really wouldn't expect that if your horse really won the race.

I think it's funny you thought people didn't respond to you because of the brilliance of your argument. It's far more likely that people don't respond to posts because they are busy, are not interested in your tone or method of presenting something, or they just think what you've said is stupid. It's always unwise to assume you are not getting comments because people think your post is brilliant. In future I'd put that baby horse to bed.
