Yes, you're correct and I knew that. Thanks for pointing out my hasty error.

Actually, it seems to me that the cure rate, which I think is cancer free for five years, may be the better metric. Dying within five years has too many variables other than the quality of your treatment for cancer. No metric is perfect. Some are all but useless.
