On the healthcare side, I am happy to see that Obama is not taking on too much at a time. This round, as I understand it is to take on the insurance companies to mend their ways so that no American would be faced with the situation that Obama's mother was in during the final months of her life. You simply cannot have insurance companies abandon sick people. Abolish pre-existing condition clause.

The second issue that needs to be addressed later on is the pricing policy of their drugs by pharma companies with the Canadian drug pricing situation as an example. Why are drugs cheaper in a Govt run system as in canada while they are expensive here. If we have a private run system and if that system is efficient as some people claim, then why are drugs so expensive?

I am for steam rolling the health care over the insurance companies.
