In 1995 I crossed the Gulf of Alaska from Sitka to Seward on a 65' longliner. It was quite an experience.

This is how the boat ended up several years later (under another skipper):



My buddy told me recently the boat rolled and sank in 2007 crossing the bar leaving Tillamook Bay, Oregon.
