Obama later told Nightline, "My suspicion is that words were exchanged between the police officer and Mr. Gates and that everybody should have just settled down and cooler heads should have prevailed. That's my suspicion."

Those are the kind of suspicions he should reserve for having a beer with close confidants.

He has no business expressing such views publicly.

The man has utter disregard for---or a huge failure to grasp---
the significance of the Office of POTUS.
